Jan. 2nd/3rd

Road day with a quick stop in Baltimore to visit my stepmom's parents.  We arrived in DC around 8 and checked into our hotel which use to be the General Post Office and was the first all marble building in DC.  Very Funky.  My ankle is limiting me a bit and it looks like Kerry will be wheeling me around the city tomorrow.  We are meeting Carli Bertrand for lunch and then touring around the city while we have light.  Part of this trip is about food so I will be occasionally writing about places we have eaten.  Our first real meal (Wendy's at the rotary doesn't count) was at a fusion joint called Oya.  Pretty good....Glazed seabass over oxtail was the highlight.  Next stop Savannah?
