Biloxi

We do know that the French Quarter is just an area of New Orleans for those lacking a sense of humor.  Seriously, we were a little disappointed about New Orleans but spent the afternoon gambling in Biloxi Mississippi.  Beautiful casino and Kerry and I both made another great run in the poker room.  We ended up spending the night in South West Louisiana in a town west of Baton Rouge called Breaux Bridge.  We had two amazing meals in the bayou.  Tried a little turtle soup, some duck and andouille gumbo, amazing fried chicken, fried okra and boudin.  This is a pork and rice sausage made from the heart and liver with a pork casing.  Kerry didn't care for it but I loved it.  Maybe we'll put it on the menu next year.  Austin bound!
